SUMMARY

▪ Dr. Aisha is a passionate and strong advocate of the transformative power of education. Her career began as a classroom teacher and advanced to school supervisor roles under the Ministry of Defence.

▪ She has held leadership positions in NGOs such as Director of Mobilisation supporting victims of insurgency with skill acquisition and healthcare programs, for the Neighbour-to-Neighbour initiative.

She is the North Central Director and Chairperson of the Nigerian League of Women Voters, Executive Member of the Military Widows Association for widows and orphans, especially from the Armed Forces. Her advocacy extends to organizations including the Police Community Relations Committee, the Retired Army Officers’ Wives Association, and the Northern Nigerian Initiatives.

▪ She was Deputy Managing Director (2015) and later Managing Director of Aerotropolis Development Company Ltd. She is currently the MD/CEO of Hammaj International Ltd an Oil and Gas Company founded in May, 2000.

▪ Dr. Aisha Lemu is multilingual, speaks multiple Nigerian languages, and is passionate about politics, peace-building, and parenthood. As a mother, grandmother and widow, she is guided by her Islamic faith in all her endeavors
